“Today you'll be going out on a business trip with me, Kade," Warren said. He spoke proudly and looked at his son while beaming with confidence.
“I thought you didn't want me sitting in on those trips," Kade replied. He wore a small frown in contrast to the proud smile of his father. He wasn't entirely sure he wanted to go out on a business trip. That would likely be the hardest part of the job for him.
