Jane's back

I was sipping my third glass of wine, well it is like mayhem. Maybe it’s the Advil I took earlier because the wine is having double effect on me and I just feel so sleepy. But there was some rustling in the door, maybe Jane is back.

“Grill babe, I’m back.” I heard her annoyingly high pitch voice. She does that coz she doesn’t like PDA, as she walked to the place where we were watching movies her eyes widened looking at me.

“Wow!! you look sick grill what did you do while I was gone?” She asked me and yeah she calls me grill. I don’t know what caused the enlightenment but she just stuck to it. To make it worse, I call her chain coz chain sounds like Jane. Before i could answer anything, she looked towards V with sickish sweet smile.

“Oh I see, you are here too holler, after so long.” She extended her hands towards V as if she means business. Why are they so childish around each other? They look like real siblings than me and V. I never had an argument with V and with Jane they both can’t stop.

He swatted her hands away and gave her death stare, even I got scared. Why is he so angry with her?

“Thanks for such a warm welcome Marvin, well it’s my home too, so shoot yourself.” She said and to threw herself at the next beanbag on my right as V was sitting on my left.

“DO YOU HAVE ANY f*****g IDEA WHAT EVEN HAPPENED WHILE YOU WERE GONE!!??” He looked straight at Jane’s eyes and she squirmed. V wasn’t dropping those stare, damn, is my brother going to kill my best friend whose side am i supposed to take in time like this?

“Well genius I don’t and stop shouting, she already looks sick.” Jane said pointing at me and they both looked at me and I just sighed.

“Guys will you stop this, I just want a peaceful night for today. Let’s just watch the damn movie.” I can’t handle them right now. I have a headache and i am feeling sleepy and I can’t help it.

They both stared at each other and then looked at me and nodded. They are such an unbelievable pair. I then tried to just focus on watching the movie, I was getting really dizzy. The place seemed to be moving on its own. Did I drink that much? Harry potter and the soccer’s stone was already finished and currently it's the chambers of secrets we were watching. As the screen showed Malfoy and Harry’s duel and he started to talk to the snake. I couldn’t concentrate any longer, the world was moving round and my ears started to ring. Maybe I really had more alcohol than I could handle. I just closed my eyes.

“OH NO NO NO,HE DIDN’T!!! HE COULD NOT JUST DARE TO LEAVE MARGE IN MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!!!”I heard Jane scream I woke up, what? Are they talking about me? I looked around, I was still at the living room and they both were gone.Maybe they are talking in Jane’s room.

“Oh look who’s talking the one who leaves everyone and everything behind. “My brother gushed.

“You’re going off topic Marvin, this isn’t about me right now. “Jane said

“Ya right! You don’t even know how shitlessly scared I was. Marge wasn’t picking up her phone for 4 days and I don’t even know what to do. I tried to call you so many times too but it was f*****g switched off.”

“She’ll be fine Vinie, don't worry so much I’ll be here with her.” I heard Jane say in a soft voice.

“She has been crying every night for the 4 days. I’ve been here Jane. It's just so heart-breaking to hear her cry, I don’t know what to do to make her feel better.”

He knew that? I thought I’ve done everything possible to muffle my voice while crying.

“Let’s go beat Joe up. I’ll be your sidekick, let’s go Egg his house. I’ll buy some eggs.” Jane voice seemed excited.

She never pretty much liked Joe. I don’t know why but every time Joe and me argued, she use to tell me that she can beat that guy for me and to leave him, I would just be better off without him. I just wonder what made Joe be on bad side of Jane. She doesn’t hold grudges on people

“I already beat him up. You think I would let that guy see the next sunrise after finding out G in that state. I think you wouldn’t either. He won’t be able to see with one eye for a month, for all I know.”

Why did V beat him up?? I haven’t even talked to him about why this happened. How am I supposed to face him now??

“Good thing you did but let’s go again I want to beat that guy too. I have iso many things i need to clear up with him.” Jane is burning up with rage.

“ I won’t go, you’re just capable of doing that yourself, aren’t you? I’ll look after G.” V told her and I heard the door creaking. I don’t know why but i acted like i was still asleep.

Both of them came back and started to watch the movie again, glancing my way now and again as i feel their stare.

At one point it became uncomfortable and i just stood and went to my room. In the side table was picture of me and joe holding hands and looking at each other and again that night i cried myself to sleep.
