"What if you meet the right person, but at the wrong time?".
Chapter 6 "So, we meet again".
I spot Elijah further down into the hallway talking to another beta. As I arrive by his side, their heads both lower respectfully. "Good evening, My lady. You look beautiful," Elijah says as the other beta nods in agreement.
Turning to the other beta, I offer my hand to him. "I am Madam Melanie. Welcome to the Blood moon City," I say automatically. He smiles, placing his hand in mine. "Thank you. I am Beta Christopher from the Silver lining pack. It's nice to meet you," he says. With a small nod.
.....…
The day my family was attacked was the day when this civilization came into the daylight following them more came out. They didn't fear us anymore.
The strongest to the weakest species roam around freely. Now the earth is divided into 5 species.
1) The werewolf
2) The werebear
3) The vampire
4) The werecat
5) The witches
6) The humans
Werewolf, werebear, and werecat are called shapeshifters. The werebear and werecat are less dangerous compared to a werewolf.
The vampire their as dangerous as shapeshifts. But very charming species. As in the novel says they don't die but in reality, they do, their lifespan is 500 years just 200 years more than shapeshifters.
The witches, witches are called for females, and warlocks or wizards are for males for their kind. Their life span is about 200 years. They are in every way similar to a human, but the difference is they have some power and a longer lifespan than the only difference, between humans and them.

I walk towards the double staircase. I glide down the staircase in my face void of emotion, capturing the eyes of men in the room.
I move through the crowd, walking towards the main table, where the Alphas are seated. I take a seat in the black chair, silencing listening to the conversations of the present Alphas.
"Sweetheart, this table is reserved for Alphas; if you want to wait over there, I'll flirt with you later.", Donatello says. Rolling my eyes, I bend over the table looking directly into his eyes.
"Listen, Sweetheart, I strongly suggest that you show me some f*****g respect before I cancel that alliance your begged for," I say through gritted teeth. "You're a woman. You have no authority here. Did you lose your mate or husband on the way here?", He fires back, obviously unaware of my position, I have to show him who's in charge here. I will not be disrespected.
I walk over to him, grasping his neck with my hand. Lifting him, I throw him a few feet away. Turning feet, I return to my seat slowly yet dramatically sat on it. "Would anyone else like to challenge my position?" I say with an innocent smile.
No responses were heard. "Good. How are you all doing tonight?", I ask. I could hear 'okay' or 'fine' in whispers.
I stood up holding the legal documents, gave it to everyone in the room to read. The sound of doors slamming against the walls ceases conversations in the room.
A tall, muscular man walked in, immediately turning his head toward the table. Those eyes; those lips. They had engraved themselves into my brain.
My eyes hardened as a soft gasp left my mouth. He was here My nightmare, he.
My eyes met his eyes. I softly murmured "So we meet again".
