I look out at the stars, searching for peace, knowing that it is with Nova. I need to get my head straight before I see mom. I didn't tell her much about what was going on, just that I was working with two friends and the three of us needed a safe place to stay for a while. My sister is going to adore Nova. I didn't tell either of them that we are married, much less that Nova is pregnant.
I sigh and lean my head against the observation window when I hear the door again. I perk up, hoping it's Nova, but I'm disappointed to see Cygnus.
