Walking into Jake's ship definitely feels like coming home. Franklyn is there and making happy robot noises, telling me welcome home. "I'm going to go take a shower and change into comfortable clothes." I start walking towards Jake's room but stop right outside his door. "You okay? Get lost?" Jake asks. He seems like he wants to touch me, but he's unsure, so I lean back into his body. He then wraps his arms around me and for the first time, I feel truly safe.
