"What do you mean she didn't come back last night?'
I asked Lucas the next day as I nursed my tea at breakfast.
"She didn't come back last night. I asked the guards. They said she went out and never came back. She's also not in her room, I have checked twice. Her belongings are still here. She's just not here,"
My jaw clenched as I slowly dropped my tea on the table.
"Have you tried calling her?"
I asked, trying to control my already erratic temper.
"No, I haven't done that yet,"
"Well, what are you waiting for?" I spat annoyed that I have to tell him this.
Last night I slept off after waiting for her.
I was going to punish her this morning.
"Well, get on with it."
I snapped
Lucas quickly took out his phone and dialed her number and then placed it against
