"Was it all that you hoped it would be? Sabrina asked as she burst into my office, her expression unreadable.
I glanced up at her with one perfect arched eyebrow.
"I beg your pardon?"
I asked, confused at her sudden anger. I had sent for her this morning because I had an assignment I needed her to carry out and it could only be done using deduction which Sabrina was great at. There was a stash coming into the state that belonged to a competitor and I needed her to get it.
The full moon was approaching and plenty of our rogues would need them to control themselves.
"Don't play dumb, I know you slept with her." She said, this time with a calmer voice. "I saw her coming out of your room looking thoroughly fucked."
