"How could you be so stupid, Lily?" I growled hours later in my study after we'd returned home.
Lily was fully awake now, her head bent down in remorse as I scolded the s**t out of her.
I usually didn't have to worry about Lily like my other girls but there were days when she acted a little too erratic for my liking.
"I'm sorry. I blacked out,"
She muttered under her breath. I could tell she felt remorseful for her actions but it didn't stop it from being dangerous.
"That's not an excuse! What happened to taking your suppressants?" I demanded, trying to keep my anger at bay but it was difficult because she'd almost exposed her identity to Anna today.
She looked up at me. "I took them."
"No, you didn't because if you did, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
