Author’s POV The dishes were served to everyone and they began to eat quietly. Elena could sense Arthur’s eyes on both of them. She knew he was watching and of course, so did Julian who was the perfect gentle man. It made Elena’s heat flutter a little when he handed a cup of water to her or when he handed her a small handkerchief. She refused to hold his gaze for long. When his hands lingered on hers, it sent a small electric shiver through her body. She pushed away from him as quickly as she could without being noticed.
