My heart beat quickened at the thought of going back to my previous pack. Because if we are going for an Alpha Summit, than it means I will have to meet my ex mate, Alpha Zain as well.
After the rejection, I was sure that I will never have to meet him again that is why this news made me a little surprised.
“Do.. do I have to go?” I asked Alpha King, but somewhere in my heart I knew what his answer will be.
“Yes, you have to” he answered calmly.
I thought about his words. My and Alpha Zain’s bond has broken a long time ago. I doubt he even remembers my face.
Even though the thought of him not remembering me at all caused my wolf to feel slight pain, but I think it is for the best if he doesn’t recognize me.
