Isabella’s POV
Ten months later…….
"what... What did you say?"
I asked in utter shock. I can't believe the words I just heard.
"From now on you will work as a personal bodyguard for Luna Sophia" Sebastian said.
He is the chief of all the warriors of Royal pack.
Today he called all the female warriors here and assigned them new duties as per their performance in the last six months.
It has been ten months since I left my pack after getting rejected by my mate for being a weak Omega.
I came to Royal pack to fulfill my dream of becoming a warrior.
In our kingdom, woman were considered useful for managing household or working as maid only.
But our new Alpha King, brought a change.
He gave all the woman an opportunity to work as a warrior and I grabbed that opportunity.
I learned how to fight since childhood and my training with my father and Damien came in handy.
But never in my wildest thought I had dreamed about becoming a personal bodyguard for the woman who is going to become our new Queen.
"Isabella, are you listening?" Sebastian asked me, bringing me out of my thoughts.
"Uhm... Yes, I am listening. It's a great honor. Thank you so much for the opportunity. I will work really hard" I promised while bowing my head in respect.
“It is so unfair. Why does an omega like her will protect our Future Luna queen when we have more deserving people here?” Bianca said glaring at me.
I can see not only her but there are many she wolves who are glaring at me. Their gazes clearly telling me that I don’t deserve this job.
My hands curled into fist due to anger but I didn’t say anything.
“you will not interrupt me or question my decision Bianca” Sebastian snapped.
Bianca looked down and muttered a sorry.
Sebastian is a very respective member of the pack. I have heard and seen with my own eyes, all the warriors respect him a lot. He even trained the current Alpha King.
“But sir, Bianca has a point. We are talking about safety of our Luna queen. How can a weak Omega….” Another woman, whose name is Cara started speaking but stopped when Sebastian showed her his hand, telling her to keep quiet.
“Beta Mason asked me to assign best female warriors to protect Royal family members, and I made my decision after seeing your past performance”
“The woman you are calling a weak Omega, has proved herself again and again that she is strong and very much deserving. If I have to say, I think she is the best among you” Sebastian said.
My heart swelled with pride and happiness at his words.
I am so fed up with everyone deciding whether I am weak or strong, whether I deserve something or not based on my rank.
But I am glad Sebastian is not like them. Today my respect for him has increased a lot.
“work hard Isabella. It is going to be a difficult task. Don’t make me regret” Sebastian said to me.
“I will” I said.
“All of you have a day off today. From tomorrow, report to your newly assigned duties.” Saying this Sebastian left the place.
I will do my best to make sure he will not regret his decision.
I will protect our future Luna queen with my everything, definitely.
Only if at that moment I knew that the woman I am going to protect will be the cause of my tears, maybe, I wouldn’t have accepted the post.
Only if I knew… .

“Ple… please let me go” I said while keeping my eyes lowered and my tone respectful.
Not again please.
I am so tired of this man.
“why should I? I want to have some fun with you. And trust me you will enjoy as well” he said in a seductive tone which caused a shiver of disgust to run down my spine.
He raised his hand to touch my face but I moved my face away.
“please, your highness, don’t do this” I requested again.
How badly I want to punch his ugly face.
But I know I can’t.
The punishment will be death.
No one is allowed to hurt royal members and the man standing in front of me is Alpha King's step brother, Emmett.
And I will be doomed if I hurt him in any way.
That is why I have to control the burning rage inside me.
But I am not sure for how long I will be able to control myself.
This man is completely sick. He is a womanizer. I am sure he has banged all the women in pack house. I have seen him making out with some female warriors as well.
Three months ago, he tried seducing me, but his charms didn’t work on me.
And it hurt his ego. The people like him always have women throwing themselves on them. I think that is why he couldn’t take my rejection.
Ever since that day he is bothering me, a lot.
I came to pack house today to meet my best friend Mia, to tell her about me protecting future Luna Sophia.
But I bumped into him.
“Look at me” he commanded.
I looked up into his eyes.
They are looking at me with his dark orbs.
“Why are you so damn beautiful?” He asked and took a step closer to me which made me press myself more to the wall.
I frowned at his question. All my life I heard from my cousin and Aunt that I am ugly. The only people who called me beautiful were my friends.
But I know I am not that beautiful. I am just average.
Then why is he calling me beautiful?
‘he is lying. He is just trying to flirt with you' my mind answered my question.
“this is not right Your highness, please let me go. My friend is waiting for me” I said and tried to push him away.
But instead of moving away, he leaned closer to my neck and inhaled deeply.
“You smell so good” he muttered huskily.
My heart started beating fast. Not because I am getting affected by him, but because fear is taking over me.
“Why are you trying to control yourself? Give in Bella, I will give the pleasure you never felt before” he whispered.
“Please move away” I said in the most coldest tone I could muster.
I tried pushing him away but he didn’t move back. He is too strong for me.
My patience is running thin. I am just few seconds away from kicking him on his family jewels.
All of my self control left my body the moment I felt his lips touching my skin on my neck.
Damn with the protocol and him being a royal.
I was just about to raise my knee to kick him in between his legs where sun doesn’t shine when a very dominating voice asked.
“what’s going on here?”
My body froze and my eyes widened. My heart beat quickened and my wolf started jumping around in my head when a most alluring scent hit my nostrils.
My eyes looked in the direction from where I heard the voice and everything inside me stilled when my brown orbs locked with his piercing blue ones, glaring at me.
I felt my legs getting weak and my breath got caught in the back of my throat when I heard a voice whispering in my head, a word I never wanted to hear ever again,
