Eve’s POV:
“I have the room key.” I say holding it up as I walk pass the girls and into the hotel. They hastily followed after me. I know they want to talk immediately, but I’m not sure who all at this hotel are vampires and can hear us. I do not want them picking up on our conversation. Considering our topic choice, we should definitely wait to speak in private.
“So are we not going to talk about the elephant in the room?” Jasmine calls out a bit too loudly. My eyes dart to the front desk lady who gives me a friendly smile when our eyes meet. I gave her a small smile in return, then make my way over to the elevator with the girls following right behind me.
