So, Dani and Terrence had come back 20 minutes after I left. They had brought the liquor back and also picked up Evette so she could meet the family. So when they walked in, everybody was acting strange.
“So, how was the game? Why y’all not playing?” Dani asked her family.
Her father spoke. “It’s because the lovely birthday girl here revealed that Aiden had HIV to the family.”
Terrence looked shocked, and Evette shed tears. He wasn’t aware of why she was crying, so he just held her. Dani was irate.
She got straight in Regina’s face. Dani said for a comment, “Is that why you were spraying Lysol? That is uninformed and insensitive.”
