So I got myself showered up and put my clothes on. I went knocked on Dani’s room door.

So we left the hotel and walked to Café du Monde. We arrived at the restaurant, viewing no long lines. We could get our beignets and go. Dani was skipping back to the hotel like a big kid. The beignets covered her face with a powdery sweetness. All I could do was laugh.
