Aria's POV For the first time since I had been at Marco's house, Enzo looked me straight in the eyes, and I saw what he may have been hiding all along: pity. He visibly gulped when I apologized, my eyes filled with tears, and he took a step back. "Are you okay?" he asked — his first words to me that weren't a direct order from Marco. A part of me wanted to just leave, go to my room, and cry, but I needed to leave this house, even if it was just for one carefree night. So I didn’t walk away.
