Dante's POV "Finally, no more complications. We can get the hell out of here," Gianna said with relief. "I know, right?" It was a hell of a job trying to convince Aria, but I was more than happy that she agreed to it. And so far, that had been the hardest part of the plan. We just needed to get out before anything unforeseen happened. Maybe the crazy plan was going to work anyway. "Dad— please, no, hold on— I—" I heard Aria speaking behind me, and I turned around to see her on the phone, fresh tears flowing down her cheeks as she spoke. "What's going on?" I asked, my heart picking up a bit. "I'll talk to him, okay? I'll call him. Don't say anything, don't argue with them, alright?" she said into the phone one last time before the call disconnected, and she dropped it from her ear.
