Aria's POV
I couldn't sleep.
Gianna and I were together in one of the bedrooms, and she had tried her absolute best to keep me company when she noticed I wasn't falling asleep yet, but eventually she wore herself out and had to go to bed.
I didn't blame her. I wanted her to rest. It was a stressful day for both of us.
When her soft snores filled the room, I picked up my phone and headed downstairs, trying my absolute best not to wake her up.
I had received a couple of calls and two texts from Marco since the incident. I hadn't been able to pick up any of the calls because I was still traumatized at the time he called, and Dante told me later that he had talked to him and explained the situation, so I did not bother to call him back.
