Dante’s POV
I knew something was wrong even before I heard the panic in Gianna’s voice.
“Dante… she… collapsed… hospital—now,” she said, not making any sense.
I had to excuse myself from a meeting after she called for the second time, so I knew it was urgent. I just didn’t know what it was about until she managed to calm down.
“Aria,” she said, and that was all it took for me to grab my keys off the table and run out of my office building, trying my best to dodge everyone in my way and ignoring questions from people I worked with.
“Where are you? What happened? Are you with her now? Is she okay?”
“We’re at Unity General,” she told me in between tears, and I pulled my car door open, dropping my phone on my lap and starting the car.
“What happened? Is she okay?”
“I don’t—I don’t know
