Aria's POV Marco had refused to let me leave my room for five days. Every day he came in with two plates of food, asked me if I had changed my mind and come to my senses, and then left whenever I refused to answer him. I cried myself to sleep every night and just stared at the wall during the day because there was nothing else to do. I felt numb. Empty. I didn’t know if Dante was alive or what his state was. I didn’t know if I was getting out of the situation alive, what Marco was going to do to me if I refused to walk down that aisle, or what he would do to me if I did.
