Summer’s P.O.V.
My whole body was screaming in pain as if I were beaten badly. Every inch, every muscle protested badly if I tried to move it.
“I have given you medicine for the pain, Summer. You will be at ease in a few minutes.” Orion said to me with a faint smile on his lips. It was something all the doctors had on their lips whenever they wanted to comfort their patients.
I wanted to ask how long these few minutes would be, but I couldn’t even speak right now.
I just blinked slowly to convey that I understand. It’s not like I never went through this pain. It has become a part of my life now.
It was just I wasn’t feeling comfortable with them around me.
