truth or dare

April's POV

Oh no!!

I was not liking what was going on at the moment. I was not the person to be dramatic or start any drama but I could sense drama brewing. I was what? Two minutes around people and they were already causing drama.

"Why would you take the snack if it is not yours?" Marcus asked and I secretly pinched him to stop him from escalating the situation.

"You are right Maddy. It is just a snack. You can have it."I decided to speak hoping that was a good signal to show everyone that I was fine. But the truth was, I was not okay deep down. I wanted to be away from everyone there.

There was an awkward silence around the room and I wondered what I was supposed to do. So I awkwardly sat down.

"Okay, can we get back to the game?" Leo cheerfully said saving the situation. I took a relieved breath when everyone agreed with him. I forced a small smile on my lips.

Then I felt a stare boring through me. I looked at Alex who was the source of the stare. I stared back at him without saying anything until I could not hold his eye contact anymore. I wondered why he was always staring at me like that without saying anything. It was weird and yes I had to admit he had beautiful eyes but he was creeping me out with his dramatic blank stares.

"Spin that bottle Liv."Marcus told Olivia excitedly as he crawled away from the couch and sat down on the grey rug close to the empty bottle that lay on the centre of the floor ready to be spinned. The other's had moved to sit on the floor too except Felix and his girlfriend Skyla. My head turned subconsciously to look at Alex and saw he had put his phone away and now he had his attention on the group but he was still sitting on the couch.

Later, a plastic cup was handed to me by Skyla and Alex received one too and Leo started pouring everyone drinks. I wanted to tell him that I did not drink alcohol but before I could say anything, he had already poured alcohol in my cup and sat back down on the rag where Olivia was ready to spin the bottle. Then she did.

I watched the bottle spin and it stopped spinning pointing at me. I shut my eyes. Why of all people did it stop at my direction?

"Yah, the new girl."Olivia cheered happily. I forced a smile opening my eyes. "So, April, truth or dare?"She excitedly asked me.

I looked at everyone in the room before replying. They were curiously expectant of an answer from me including Alex who was leaning back on the couch but his curious stare was directed at me. "Truth."I replied and I saw the disappointment in most people's face. They expected me to choose dare?

"So, who in the group do you find attractive?"Olivia asked me. Was she setting a trap for me or what? I was quiet for a while thinking about what I was setting myself up for with the answer I would choose.

"Yoh, that's a tricky question. We all are attractive." Leo jokingly said.

"Just say Alex and we move on. I know anybody who has eyes knows it's Alex." Maddy said and I looked at Alex. He had a small smirk. I had the urge to roll my eyes. He was not attractive at all. At least I did not find him that attractive. He had the looks to kill for and a body of a Greek god but even with all that, he was not attractive enough in my eyes. Looks were not attractive to me.

I then looked at Maddy and for some reason I evilly smiled. The final answer I had in my brain was somehow a bit evil."Maddy. I think Maddy is the most attractive." I answered and there were a few gasps of surprise. I knew they did not expect me to even consider Maddy considering she and I had already started on a rough patch. Plus, she was a girl.

Maddy herself was the most surprised. But I meant it. Maddy was very attractive and so was everyone in the friend group. It was like, it was a group of the most attractive people only. They gave off a vibe of if you are not pretty, you are not welcome in our group.

"Twiiist..."Olivia sucked her teeth.

"I never saw that coming."Skyla commented and I looked at her. "I like her."She told Marcus smiling. I was seeing her smile for the first time since I saw her.

"Me too."Leo added. "Plus, she is mad hot."Leo turned to look at me. "If I was you, I wouldn't have to be humble. I would have answered myself as the most attractive person. With beauty like yours, you are obviously the most attractive person I have ever seen."Leo praised and I smiled this time genuinely.

" Thanks."I told him.

"Of course."Leo shrugged. "Now, spin that bottle April." he told me and I stood up from the couch and joined everyone else on the floor. I spinned the bottle. It stopped at Alex and everyone burst out laughing. Why were they all laughing?

"Finally Alex's turn. It is never his turn in this game."Felix spoke seemingly in a happy mood.

I smiled at Alex but he had that blunt expression. "Truth or dare stingy guy?"I asked him.

"Stingy guy?"Maverick scoffed. Everyone shared a look between themselves when I called Alex stingy guy.

"Dare."he chose with a smirk.

What was I going to dare him? I thought about it for a while. "I dare you to call me my real name."I said quite proud of myself. He was calling me with every month of the year pretending as if he did not know my real name. I knew he was mocking me by avoiding to call me my real name.

"Oh man, she got you bad." Felix laughed. " I guess you have got her name wrong like a zillion times to dare you with that."Felix added. I mentally scoffed. He had no idea.

Alex stared at me and I raised my brow at him challengingly. I waited for him to say something but the next thing he did was lift the cup to his lips. Everyone booed. I was a little disappointed he chose to drink rather than just say my name. How egoistic of him.

"Well, how typical of my i***t brother. Count on him to be the biggest asshole. You can literally hear everyone call her name but you are simply just a jerk."Olivia scolded rolling her eyes. " Anyway, come spin the bottle and keep the game going."Olivia told him but I was still stuck at what i just heard.

Alex and Olivia were siblings? That was the most random thing ever.
