I knew when I wake up today that it was going to be a blessed day for me. yesterday I saw my brother in the study room preparing school work for us, he teach us English. Everybody in the kingdom adores my brother he is kind and he has that welcoming aura to him that's makes him reachable and wanted. the guy rarely gets angry and when he do... oh you better stay out of his ways, I remember the last time he got angry was when I told him that Pride is my mate and I screwed up. I remember that so well he was fuming. my brother takes the mate bond serious so am glad he he find his mate who is just as sweet and caring as him. he told to me mend my broken relationship with Pride before things escalate. the heat comes very strong each time and am dreading this month. everytime I have my heat my brother will take me out and we will leave in a cottage in the forest it's our little hide out place no one knows about it. so this year am willing to fix everything between me and Pride I want my mate.

my brother told me he will pair me up with Pride but I was expecting this reaction I thought she will just roll her eyes at me and move on but her not wanting to work with me it means it has escalated.

Pride compose herself and look at my brother. not many does that but we are talking about Pride, the girl is courageous, beautiful, intelligent and strong and she is mine.

" okay fine I will do it only for you sir but." she looks at me with a warning look on her face.

" don't do anything that will make me kill you I promise I will." she mutters something under her breath and goes back to seat with Blake.

we all settle down and Tim continues.

" okay that's all for today, school is cancelled today and you can all go home don't forget the assignment, if you don't hand in the assignment you know the punishment." he walks out of class.

" Tom we will go to my house with me am so lonely I need you there, you know my sister just found her mate and mum and dad are busy with work I have no one." I hear Deborah whining about something but I pay her no attention. before Pride can finish packing her books I move to her desk, I ignore Blake who is giving intimidating looks and look at Pride.

" where do you think we should do our assignment." I ask her, she packs everything in her bag and then looks at me.

" my house, I don't want to go to your house." well that is not new, Pride has never stepped foot on my house since that incident well story for another day.

" sure I will come today then in the afternoon if that is okay with you." she nods her head wake out on me with Blake following her.

I check my time for the hundred times and the time seem to be going in slow motion although it's already afternoon I didn't want to go around 1pm at least now it's 3pm I can go. I grab my laptop and my English book and stuff it in my backpack and wake out of my room.

" someone seems excited today what's the occasion." Joe asks

Joe is my best friend but he doesn't know that I have mate am not ready to share because I know he will strangle me my brother's anger was enough for me.

" yeah you can say that but no occasion am just excited." I pat him on the shoulder and walk to Pride's house that is in the far part of the kingdom. I don't know why they leave there.

I knock on the door three times and get no response. I pull my phone out of my pocket to text her.

vanilla and freshly baked potato hit my nose I turn around and see Pride coming.

" sorry I went to buy something I was not expecting you this time."

I move out of the way so she can open the door, she lets me and I close the door behind me

" it is afternoon, and I didn't want to be late." well that is the honest truth.

When I said Pride is beautiful I meant it not because she is my mate no she is beautiful even though she is wearing oversized sweatpants and sweatshirt with the hair in a mess bun she still looks gorgeous.

I think someone should save me a prayer because am no virgin and my mate is Infront of me looking like an angel that just fell from heaven am wondering.

she leads me to the study room that only smells like her. I take a seat opposite her. I take out my book and laptop and we start doing our assignment, her smell is both calming me and traumatizing me at the same time.

we finish half the assignment and we call it a day although I want to stay longer I hug her and kiss her forehead and she close her eyes making me save this moment in memory. she didn't push me away damn she didn't push me away, I think I should have hope maybe she will accept me . oh please moon goddess help me please
