Liana's POV It happened on a Thursday afternoon. No warning. No ringing in my ears. One moment the memory was there. The next it wasn't. I'd been sitting at my desk thinking about nothing in particular when I tried to picture the prison. Not because I wanted to. Just because it had become a habit — checking, the way you checked a door was locked before bed. Making sure the memories were still where I'd left them. They weren't. It was gone.
