[Cairo Gascon's POV]
When we arrived home, Mom was already standing outside of our house as she saw our car approaching. She clasped both of her hands saka inilapat ito sa kanyang dibdib and I can still see it slightly trembling. Dad parked the car on the garage saka kami lahat lumabas sa sasakyan. As soon as Charles got out of the car, he immediately jolted toward Mom who is now on her feet to hug Charles back. Umiyak silang dalawa habang pinapahid ni Mom ang likuran ng kapatid ko.
"Diyos ko! Are you alright, anak? I'm so sorry I shouted at you earlier, Charles," said Mom as she checked Charles' body for bruises.
"I'm fine, Mom," my brother said in between his sobs. "But I should be the one to say sorry because what I did was dangerous," dagdag niya.
