[Sydney Paralejo's POV]
I sat in my chair comfortably while positioning the tassel of my cap properly. I looked at the mass of people sitting along the bleachers as the guest speaker of the event was talking in front of the stage. They were all smiling, eyeing all of us who were sitting in the center aisle of the gymnasium.
"Congratulations, graduates of batch 2020-2021 and God bless us all!" he declared.
We all gave a round of applause as the guest speaker ended her speech.
I smiled as a nostalgic feeling engulfed me entirely.
It was this very spot where I sat on my chair when I graduated from Grade 10 about two years ago. Time flies so fast and now here I am, finally graduating from Grade 12.
We all stood up as we sang our school hymn. Nagbabanggan ang lahat ng aming mga boses
