As time went on and Owen grew older, his interests changed. Javier had taught him to read at a young age because he had loved books since he was three years old. He was a very intelligent child and learned very quickly. Today he was turning five, and his grandfather was coming to visit him. He was more than ready to ask him about his dad and to ask him to take him to see him, as he didn't want to ask his mom because they were divorced.
Mr. Mayer arrived with Mitch, and Owen approached and greeted them warmly.
"Welcome home, Great-grandpa and Mitch."
"You little rascal, every time I visit, you seem bigger and more polite. Your mommy is doing a good job."
"You seem older than five, young Owen."
"Age is just a number, Mitch."
