While Samuel's security team was frantically searching for me in Fill City, I landed in Germany at five in the morning. The air was cold, and it was starting to snow.
I headed to a hotel with the money Javier gave me; for now, I wouldn't use my card as they could track my movements. I arrived, checked in, went to my room, and rested for a few hours. Upon waking, I went out to get some things; I had left with nothing, so I headed to a shopping mall and only bought a few pieces of clothing, not much, just enough to get by for a few days until Javier sent me more.
I walked through the mall, feeling comfortable; knowing the language, I didn't feel like I was in a strange place. This would be a new beginning.
