  I struggled to get back on my feet and held my wooden sword with both hands. I launched at her again as rapidly as I could and swung my sword. My attack headed straight for her right shoulder because I was sure with the amount of strength I put into it, I could bring her down. I focused all my attention on that one attack that, by the time I was close to laying it, I had lost focus on every other thing around me.   Moriah just stepped out of the way, staring at me with the most disappointing eyes. My sword just went past her and slammed into the stone floor. The vibration passed from the impact through the wood, forcing me to let go of the sword, and the momentum I had gathered from my launch propelled me even further than I had intended to go; I staggered forward and fell to the ground
