  Prince R0wan sat in his room in front of a large window through which he could see a large portion of the palace's front yard. His eyes, like empty marble, locked onto his reflection. He was always like this; cold, quiet, unreadable. Some maids in the palace nicknamed him the devil prince because of his gothic demeanor, but that was only in the palace, his title: The Dark Knight, was even more popular.   Although he hardly spoke, among the three brothers, Rowan was seen as the most brilliant when it came to strategic thinking. He was the most emotionally guarded, and mysterious one. He moved around a lot, and so was hardly seen by anyone. Some people in the kingdom even believed that king Japhet only had two sons because of how scarce he was.   His room was dimly lit with candle sticks
