My escape from the camp was far easier than I had anticipated. Without knowing it, my membership among prince Damian's troop had already been cemented, so even though some soldiers were still outside their tents, I was allowed to move around as I pleased.
All I had to say was that I wanted go somewhere private to ease myself, and I could slip past everyone almost unnoticed. After getting as far away as I could from the camp, I turned around to say my final goodbyes. I was surely going to miss Moriah, and remember everything she had done for me during the time we spent together.
