Moriah narrowed her eyes as she peered down a passage way in Lady Madelyn's mansion. She carried a cold expression on her face, her brows furrowed and her fists tightened like she was preparing for a battle. She wore a black apron and pulled her hair back into a ponytail, carrying a long broom across her back like it was a sword.
Rhys and Mabel, the two young maids who stood behind her, stared quietly, wondering what Moriah was about to do. Rhys had long chestnut hair that cascaded down her shoulders and over her bosoms, and dark gray eyes, and Mabel had bobbed night-black hair, and dark blue eyes.
Both wore black aprons over their maid uniforms which was a white, sleeveless, knee-length dress, and black leather shoes.
