The ceremony kicked off in a large hall in the Valtorian palace two nights later. High ranking Valtorian military personnel and all the influential business men and women from the eight districts of Valtoria gathered together on the evening of the ceremony. They walked around the party, murmuring among themselves, holding glass cups filled with verities of drinks.
The men in the hall wore velvet coats that shimmered under the brightly shining candle lanterns, and the women wore long and short dresses of various designs, laced with sparkling jewels ranging from diamonds to emeralds. The attires worn by these eloquent men and women did well to display how wealthy they were, and how much political power they held.
