“You are leaving University of Washington?” Leo exhales, running a hand over his hair.
“Well, are you going to tell me?” I raise my eyebrows expectantly, ignoring his question.
“Professor Malino is here.”
The door opens almost immediately. “Leo and Willow, I need...Am I interrupting?” She pauses and looks from me to Leo, her eyebrows knitted with concern.
“No, professor.” I smile politely.
“Aren’t you two supposed to be in class, anyway? Like, the class starts in two minutes.”
“f**k!” Leo mutters.
“Leo? Language.” She raises her eyebrows, a smile tugging at her lips.
“Sorry,” he mumbles, and I smile at how cute their relationship is.
“Take whatever you need,” she says to Professor Malino. “I’m going to class, Willow.” His attention flickers to me.
