CHAPTER FIVE We were due to fly home the next day. I had packed most of our things the night before, and so there wasn’t much to do. We had breakfast and James said he was going to check out how things were going with work. I couldn’t just sit around all day as I hated waiting to leave; it was the worst feeling in the world. We never seemed to get early flights, and they were always late. I guess that’s what made them cheaper. I told James I was going to have one last wander around the resort. I strolled down the main street, in and out of the many shops I had been in before. Before I knew it, I was heading for the beach, to the spot that I had met Maria, but there was no sign of her. She must have gone for lunch or something – or maybe she was giving another massage. I sat for a moment
