“Come in.” He said and Sarah walked through the doors. She glanced at me then at Adam. “We have something to tell you.” Adam said taking my hand. “I know, y’all are together.” We both looked at her dumbfounded. “What?! How?!” We both said at the same time. “Well if you must know.” She started. “Mr. Blackthorne you asked me how to go about starting a chat with a woman even if it is online.” “You also sent me to get the roses & chocolates that you eventually sent to Ashley.” “Then when Ashley started telling me about the secret admirer that was messaging her I simply put 2 & 2 together.” “But Mr. Blackthorne may I be frank? “Go ahead Sarah, it’s never stopped you before.” “It’s why you’re the best personal assistant I’ve ever had.” He tells her. “Ok then, Ashley is my best friend & if you hurt her you will lose the best assistant you’ve ever had.” “I promise to never hurt her Sarah.” He tells her. “In fact I’ve never felt anything for anyone like I do for Ashley.” “In fact I told her so over the weekend.” “I told her I love her.” Now it was Sarah who look dumbfounded. “You love her? So I’m guessing she’s seen the penthouse then?” She asks. “Yes she has, in fact that’s where she spent the weekend, & I’m hoping she stays more.” Sarah looks at me & I blush. “I would love to Adam.” Sarah then looks at me. “I expect to get every detail.” She says while smiling & I giggle.
