(AT THE MALL) "I swear I'm fine now juddy. can we go back home? please!!!" I begged as I lean against the wall trying to rest my muscles from the long tour around the mall. "I'm almost done, chillax(relax)." Judith said trying on another dress. "what kind of trouble have I gotten myself into?" I thought. "I thought this shopping was for me to get better. you're literally killing me." I whined trying to talk Judith from purchasing the whole Mall. " I'm doing the shopping on your behalf baby girl. stop complaining else we'd sleep here." Judith joked laughing. "alright! alright! I'm not complaining, though it's been 3hours I'm totally fine." I replied faking a smile. "that's the spirit." Judith said winking at me. "I think I need some space from you before I'll start to cry. I'll go get water, I'm so dehydrated." I turned leaving Judith behind. "get me a bottle!!" I heard Judith yell while I walk away. At another end of the Mall was a grocery store. I was so relieved after downing a bottle of chilled water, and decided to rest for some time before going back to madam SHOPPING MALL. Tiredly, I sat at one of the seats prepared for customers at the grocery store. it was like a heavy burden was lifted from my shoulders. "what a day!!" I sighed as I brought my phone out of my mini bag. "Hello gorgeous." a male voice greeted drawing my attention away from my screen. "Hi." I replied with a not too friendly tone. "I'm courage, and it's nice meeting such an angel today. I must be a very lucky guy." He said as I looked at him irritated. "don't be too sure about that. what do you want?" I asked creasing my brows. "come on... you don't have, to be grumpy, I don't bite." the young man said with an odd smile on his face. God knows it took everything in me not to yell at the jerk. "As you can see, I'm trying to get my ALONE.. time, so can you move?" with the coolest voice, I snapped. He looked puzzled and was about to say something when Judith walked towards us. "Okay girl, I'm done with shopping for today. it's time to go home." Judith announced loudly. "thank goodness. you're such a life saver." I thought while standing from my seat. "So you're just going to ignore me, ain't you?" courage asked with a frustrated grin on his annoying face. "Ohh sorry I didn't realize you're still here." I said with a devilish smile. "hi, nice to meet you, though my friend didn't introduce you. I'm Judith and this is my friend Ada." Judith blurred out immediately, making me frown. Seriously!!!! "Judith can we go now?" I snapped, walking out before Judith could respond. "Come on Ada... just because Drake messed up doesn't mean you should hate men." Judith said trying to catch up with me. "you can't tell me what to do you know." I turned making a silly face at juddy. There was a sudden frown on her face which made me raise a brow curiously. "WHAT??" I asked but she didn't say anything, then I noticed she was staring at something else. trying to figure what the problem was, I turned around only to hit a body like wall. swiftly I raised my head and saw Drake smiling down at me. immediately, I walked towards Judith and dragged her arm while leading her to the exit. one could read the shocked expression on Drake's face when I ignored him. "babe.. come on. I get it!! I missed our date and you have every right to be mad at me but you don't have to ignore me." Drake pleaded following Judith and I. "I can explain.. I'm sorry please." he said, pulling my hand causing me to face him. "okay explain." I said raising my brows. Heaven knows the strength it took me to hide my temper. "I was.... I wa....s" he stammered trying to reck that peanut brain of his while trying to come up with a suitable lie. "working?" I asked with a pretentious smile. "Yes I was working and time just seems to fly by." he answered with a sorry face. "did the devil just lie?" Judith asked furiously walking towards us. with a dramatic wave, I urged her to calm down. "just look at you and the way those lies came out from your mouth. do you think I'm stupid? sorry if I've been acting stupid all these while, but I'm woke now. We're done Drake. go have fun with the dark skinned beauty you were with on the day of our suppose date." I slammed the unexpected right in his face and almost burst out laughing when I saw the frozen look on face. "please babe... it was a mistake. I promise it won't happen again." he grabbed my hand while I was walking away. "leave me alone and take your miserable hand off me. I don't care about your foolish mistake, I'm done with you and that's final." I yelled at him at the top of my lungs, letting out every bit of frustration I've held. "Hey! the young lady said you should leave her alone. I think you should keep your distance." a familiar voice interrupted. there was a surprised look on my face when I saw it was courage, the young man from the mall. "mind your business Young Man. this doesn't concern you." Drake snapped at him and tried to pull me towards another spot away from him. while struggling to break free from his grip, courage reached for my other hand and pulled me towards him. Drake became extremely angry and pounced on courage with no warning signs. They had a rough fight, and were not ready to back down until the security men at the entrance of the Mall forcefully tore them apart. "This isn't over." Drake said pointing at me before heading to his car. "I'm sorry for what just happened. do take care of yourself." I said to courage who was trying to cool down from the fight. Judith led me to the car and we zoomed off.
