Elmira's pov
I woke up and do the same thing I do every morning it's almost like a morning ritual, dressed in black crop top and red ripped jeans with my black leather jacket, it's been two weeks since I last saw kendrix when he dropped me off home I always thought about him but I always push back the thought.., I spent more time with my two best friends; we went to the mall, watch horror and romantic movies and spent most of our time talking about boys
I go downstairs and see my grandma making breakfast but..she doesn't look good
"Morning grandma, how are you feeling"
"Morning Ellie dear, I'm fine" she says with a small smile
"Are you sure grandma, you don't look good" setting the plates on the table
"I'm ok dear" we start eating and suddenly my grandma clenched her chest screaming and I can clearly see the pain in her
"Grandma? Grandma grandma what's wrong! Grandma! Some one help!" I screamed as tears roll down my cheeks I call the ambulance and they came in seconds rushing her to the hospital I call Sofie and Kay
It took them ten minutes to get to the hospital while I sat on the chair crying my eyes out
"Hey "
"Hey what did the doctor say"
"I-I don't know what's going on I've been out here for half an hour and the doctor hasn't said anything"
"Ok just calm down we'll receive some news in a minute" Sofie says with an sympathetic smiles
"I hope so, Sofie but I can't calm down I'm totally freaking out"
"It's ok, do you want water? Anything?"
"No Kay thanks" we both wait there in silence for another 30mins and the doctor comes
"Doctor please tell me, how is my grandma is she ok sir?" Sofie and Kay followed behind me
"Well what can I say.. she had another heart attack she doesn't have much time left she needs an operation very soon"
"What? How would I get that much money? Doctor please isn't there anything you can do to help at least buy her more time please"
"I'm sorry I wish I could do more for you" with that he walks away and stream of tears roll down my cheeks making my eyes blur
"What do I do now? We barely have enough to pay the rent and all other expenses? How will I get so much money? Oh my God"
"It's ok El we can get through this we'll find a way don't worry" Kay says with a reassuring smile
"Yeah El, Kay is right we'll get through this together, I have some savings for starters we could pull our Money together and it might get us somewhere"
"Yh I have some savings too and I could ask my brother for a little money-"
"No way" cutting them off "you don't need to do it, I can't use your money guys no way, I appreciate your help but I just can't, there must be another way" they sigh and we entered my grandma's room
the walls of the room is painted beige and the windows are open flowers vases at the corner off the room a medium sized green couch to the side and different machines are fixed to her body, there is silence in the room and only the sound of the machine could be heard, she was sedated, seeing her lie on the bed without moving makes my heart clench, I've been with my grandma since my parents died she's the only family I have I can't afford to loose her, Sofie and Kay spend some time with me before leaving
I sleep on the couch in the room and cry myself to sleep hoping to find a way out.
Hey guys don't you feel a little hurt for Elmira. Kay is the nickname for Kendra in this story. I can't grasp the concept of where this story is taking on but I promise there will be drama and jealousy
