Before I Met You

Chapter Eight

On the other side of the city where Happy Camp Hospital is located; the human young man doesn't know what's going on. He was trying to rack his own brain.

" This whole time I was here, my girlfriend was behind that door. How is that possible? " said the human young man as he couldn't understand what's going on.

" She told me that she was going to be with her family. So, how is it that my girlfriend is here? " said the human young man as he kept repeating the same words over and over.

The human young man doesn't know anything about his girlfriend. He knows there are some things that he wasn't aware of. To him, his girlfriend appears to be understanding and caring.

" I still don't get it. Why was my girlfriend at the hospital in the first place if she was with her family " said the human young man as he was trying to figure it out.

He sighs. He looked at the documents that the doctor gave him. He looked at the documents slowly. He made sure he didn't miss anything as he read it carefully.

" I've re-read the documents over and over. There was no information about my girlfriend " said the human young man as he started to get frustrated.

While he was thinking, his phone kept ringing and ringing a lot of the time. He even heard a lot of notification sounds coming from his phone. He got annoyed at the sound of his phone. In a fit of anger, he threw his phone on the wall really hard. And his phone was instantly broken. Even if he wants his phone back, he cannot do so. Since, it was broken from a strong force when he threw it against the wall. He was glad that the sound of his phone disappeared. Meanwhile; far away from Happy Camp Hospital where the human young man's family lives starts to worry. As they were in their home, they were watching tv. 

When suddenly, they had a mysterious notification sent to their phone. It shows them their beautiful daughter-in-law in a bad shape. As they were looking at their phone, the tv suddenly changed to a different channel where the news was on. Everyone that knew him and the girl saw everything. They were speechless, shocked, mad and disappointed. They were disappointed at the actions and behavior of the human young man. Even his family-in-law was disappointed as well. Unaware of what's going on for the human young man, the girl's family decide to file and sue their daughter's boyfriend. 

The man's parents; on the other hand, they didn't know the consequences that their son made. They aren't safe where they live. They have become the enemy of people who knew them. And people that knew their son and their son's girlfriend. The man's family thought that if their son dated and married their daughter-in-law their life would be perfect. His parents were already treating her as if she was already part of the family. However, they aren't aware of who their son's girlfriend really is. They already know that their son goes to the same high school as their daughter-in-law and the girlfriend of his son goes to.

But, they would be in one ride of hell coming for them. Especially the rude awakening coming soon. A day in which everything will be crashing down instantly on them. All good things that the human young man and his family have achieved will be no more. For they have paid the price for the actions that their son has made to their daughter-in-law. They didn't know that their son's girlfriend's family was going to the city. And once they arrive in the city, their lives will be a big lifetime change for them. For they have messed with the wrong girl and the girl's family. And so let the rude awakening start with this family. 

A time of peace in the city will be gone. A time of peace for one good family will be no more. For they have started to mess with the wrong person. And the actions of one individual human man have started this. He and his family will be the one to pay the price. For a rude awakening is about to begin. Since, the human young man that was once in Happy Camp Hospital was released. After he got so many tests to be done onto him over one year and a half. He has to come back for another three months for his heart transplant. As he came out of the hospital room, he felt fresh and renewed. 

Like there are changes coming in his life. He wasn't aware that the things that he has seen before have changed. And the people that knew him were long gone. They decide to change their phone numbers. They didn't want to interact with the man who ' kills ' his girlfriend. Even his high school friends don't want to interact with him. Because his friend's family wants them to have nothing to do with him anymore. He hasn't heard from his girlfriend in a long time. Not after that incident in the hospital. He decided to start thinking positively. As he came out of the hospital, a swarm of people came out of nowhere. 

They were questioning him a lot. He looked confused as to why there were people there. One person came over to him and asked...

" So, how do you feel that you came out of the hospital ? " said the first male to him as he was trying to get more answers from him.

" I feel fine. And I feel fresh and a new me " said the same first man to a swarm of people he doesn't know.

" Is there anyone you would like to see when you're out of the hospital ? " said the same first male to him as he was trying to get more answers from him.

The human young man starts to think. And the beautiful angel that he saw was all he could think of. His face starts to flush in embarrassment. The swarm of people knew that there was someone in his life. They looked at each other and nodded in unison.

" You seem happy. Are you somehow in love with anyone? " said the first female to him as she wanted to hear a juicy story from him.

The human young man wasn't aware that he is being recorded of everything he has to say. His name and face was shown in every TV station around the world. And it was hovered in the city for the people to see. They felt disgusted at him. They knew that what he has done has cost someone's life. The students that go to the same high school as him also see him and hear what he said. Since, the teachers have brought radios to hear the news. And the people that have their phone could see it too. They continued to watch the video on their phone as it was still time to study for the students.

" Tell me, has anyone come to visit you while you were in the hospital ? " said the woman.

The human young man stays quiet. He didn't say a word. No one would believe him if he saw an angel who came down from heaven. People would think he's crazy. In front of people, he says it with confidence. But, he has no idea what happened to his girlfriend. He thought that everything would be fine. Even after he was discharged from the hospital. The people that are watching rolled their eyes at them. Because, they have watched that disturbing video that was sent on their phone by an unknown sender. Now everyone in the city hates his guts. The human young man got interrupted when he was trying to reminisce about himself.

" Yes there was. It was a beautiful angel that reminded me of my girlfriend " said the young man to the crowded people.

" My girlfriend is the light of my hope. The hope that guides me to the light. And protects me from the darkness " said the young man.

While the man speaks, a mysterious group of people appear before him. He couldn't see them. The man felt a ruthless cold down his spine. It was a disturbing sign to him. But, he ignored it. The same mysterious group of people stare him down from far away. They didn't like the man. In the same way, a beautiful mysterious woman appeared at the top of the tree where these groups were. She starts to giggle at the sight of the man.

" He is the enemy of all women. We should go and find evidence of his infidelity " said the girl as she changed her tone of voice at them.

" But, my lady; we are not supposed to interfere with the lives of those pathetic humans " said an unknown man as his eyes were fixated on the man when he said it.

" Hey mates, that is true. We were pulled here, because he is related to a certain someone, " said another man.

" We won't interfere, but I want one of your men to keep tabs on this human young man, " said the girl.

" Because of his actions, his future is now a blur. But he has ties with that person " said another man.

The mysterious girl starts to sigh. She starts to pierce into this human's soul. The four men and her stay silently. They wait until the right time. She snapped back to reality after she had one of those episodes. The kinds that you daydream out of nowhere. You would look like you're in a trance. The girl took a deep breath once more. And she starts to look at them. She raised her head up and sighs again. Without hesitation, she snapped her fingers. And a mysterious book with a strange design appeared. The book starts to open as it knows what the girl wants to know the answer to.

After she scanned through the page the book takes her in, she closed the book and it shrunk into her hand.

" Mmhmm. I see. That makes sense" said the girl as she was looking at the book.

The mysterious girl slowly jumped off the tree. She was light as a feather. As she jumps down gently, the wind carries her down to reach the floor. She didn't need to exhaust herself with just one simple trick. As she reached the floor, the mask appeared on her face allowing her to breathe easily in human land. The four men follow suit alongside her. They wore a mask. They stand next to the tree on stand by. The girl; on the other hand, she could easily glide to the floor. As she skips fast to reach the human man, she could sense a bit of darkness within him. When she reaches right in front of him, time stops for a split second which gives the girl more time to look into his memories.

The girl went to look into his memories. She wants to see the recent and before that. Because, a name has popped up in her special book. One of the men who works for her can control time. He was helping her freeze time, so she could have more time to look into his memories without interruption. The girl was in a trance. Because, her eyes just turned white.

" Aww that's cute. Wait, what am I doing? I'm supposed to look deeper into his memories " said the girl as she got distracted.

The girl tries her best to look into his memories. She doesn't want to drown into his memories. Because, if she did; it'll be hard for her to come back to reality. The girl didn't realize that she went all the way back to his memories. The time when he was just a child. Then... the whole city was stuck as time stayed frozen in time. As time froze, the girl stayed completely still. The girl stayed completely quiet. It was a stand still. No one couldn't make a sound. Because, if they did; it would make the girl stuck in the memories of a human. The four men watch her from the sideline. 

They make sure no danger causes harm to her. The soul of the girl went inside the human young man's memories. As she was doing so, she decided to close her eyes to find what she was looking for.

[Girl looked into his memories]

The girl opened her eyes to see in an empty space with no light in it. It was just completely black. She realized she went way too far into his memories. Since it's black it means that this was when there were no memories at all. It was a memory of when he was in his mother's womb. She could see a young girl and that girl was with her boyfriend. They were going on a date. The young girl didn't know that she was pregnant. Another person went up to her. She could recognize her in a heartbeat. It was one of her classmates at school. Except, she wasn't aware that her classmate also has feelings for her boyfriend.

She was oblivious to it. She didn't think that her classmate was flirting with her boyfriend. To her, it was just a friendly gesture. She was blinded with love for her boyfriend. She walked up to her boyfriend and he was happy to see her. He was very awkward towards the other girl.

" Babe, I'm going to use the bathroom. I'll be back okay? " said the young girl to her boyfriend.

" Of course babe, just let me know if you need help. I'll be right here outside waiting " said her boyfriend to her.

As she went to the bathroom, her classmate started to get every chance she could get. She wanted to get her crush to notice her. She didn't care that her crush had a girlfriend. She just wanted him all to herself.

" If I can't have my crush then no one will. I want to be his girlfriend. He's very rich " said the girl as she mumbles to herself quietly.

The girl was thinking of a plan. A plan to steal the guy away from her classmate. Because she thinks that she's the right person to be his girlfriend. But, it wasn't out of love that she had with her crush. She only likes the guy, because she wants to date a rich man. Because, if she marries a rich man then no one can stop her from doing what she does best. She is talented in breaking up a couple. She's even good at seducing any man around her. The only skills she's talented and mastered at was cheating. She was good at hiding her true self. She thought that if she dated a rich man and cheated at the same time; she could hide it. 

She wants to hide everything she did with money. She was a total gold digger. A woman who is after a person's money. And when the person is broke or bankrupt at the least; she would break up with him. She tries her best to flirt with her crush. But, it was strange. The guy wasn't interested in her. She was frustrated that the man didn't flirt back. The young girl noticed that her classmate was coming back, so she pretended that she tripped and hurt her ankle. The man's girlfriend came back. She could see that her classmate was in pain. But, at the same time, she could feel that something wasn't right about her.

" Are you alright ? " said the girl to her classmate as she tried to figure out her classmate.

" Babe, you came back. This girl says she hurt her ankle. What should we do? " said the young girl's boyfriend.

" Maybe you should give her a piggyback ride and bring her to the hospital to get her checked, " said the young girl to her boyfriend.

The young girl was pleased at what her classmate did for her. She was happy that she was getting a piggyback ride from her crush. She thinks that if she did, it would be easy to seduce him. Because her boobs are bigger than the man's girlfriend. The man kneeled down as a way of being a gentleman. He didn't like having another girl on his back. But, he wants to make his girlfriend happy. So, he complies with her replies. As the girl was on his back, the girl tried her best to seduce him. The man carried her. He put his hand on her back. The young girl leaned in closer to him. She wanted him to feel her breast being pressed on his back.

The man felt her boobs weren't his girlfriend. He started to fluster as he could feel her breast. He could tell she wasn't wearing any bra. So, it was natural for the girl to feel it.
