I had chosen to discard his words about falling in love and simply enjoy his company, otherwise I knew I would be over analyzing things, and making things awkward, when I had been lucky to find a hiding spot within the room as it was, and as I heard Theo laughing once again at something I had said I was glad I had not made more of an issue of it. His company was so relaxing… so fun… My heart felt so much lighter just by sitting here, hiding in the shelter of the brightly lit Christmas tree, with Theo by my side, as the two of us were people watching. All the family friends we had grown up around... some old friends... some new... as they chatted, drank and danced the evening away, all becoming the source of our conversation as we sat close to one another, simply enjoying being together.
