New Beginning

FOUR | MY MATE

     Ethan 

     I couldn't believe it, I've been waiting to find her for 9 years, since my 16th birthday, and now she was right in front of me and I didn't know how to start or where to start, but Damon was more than ready and when I realized my feet were moving towards her. 

    "Damon, this is not the time to act by impulse. I've been waiting for this for as long as you have so play it cool, I know you're excited but we don't know if she's a wolf, and if she's not, she can't feel the bond so we're gonna have be smart." I was worried that his anxiety was going to ruin our shot of finally having our mate. 

    "I'm not dumb Ethan, I'm not gonna scary her, I was just giving you a push to go and talk to her already. Like you said we've been waiting for this for 9 years and now she's right in front of us and I'm not waiting another second." He was right, I couldn't let this chance go, but I had to play my cards right. 

    I headed up to the bar trying to cool my breathing, her smell was intoxicating and it was all I was thinking about. The more I looked at her, more I started to really notice her. She had the lightest skin I had ever seen, withe as milk, and her hair was pitch black with the most beautiful curls, adding the perfect contrast. Her body was shaped like an hour glass, the kind of shape that would get any girl jealouse, she was peferct, and I couldn't belive that she was mine. 

    When I reached her, all I could think about was her scent and how it was making me want to strip her right here and have my way with her. 

    "Uum, hey? Hellooo? Hey are you ok?" S**t  I dozed off, she was looking at me with a funny exprection.

    "Yeah, sorry about that, got lost in my thoughts. So, I'm Ethan, Josh's cousing,"

    "Oooh great, look I'm sorry I didn't know that they were gonna do that, you don't have to keep me company just because they told you so." 

    "Don't worry, at least I have an reason to stay, if it waas just them I would've bailed" I laughed a bit cause I was nervous but she was smiling at me.

    "Oh My God, thank you, I didn't really wanted to come either, and I was pissed when B told me that they tricked you, but I also didn't wanted to be alone here or try to engage in any conversation," 

    "Yeah well, it's better this way, we can get to know each other, Josh told me you are going to UNO, so you can know someone already." She looked at me a bit confused, biting her bottom lip,

    "UNO?" She laughed, and I was amazed by it, she had the most beautiful laugh. 

    " I'm sorry, I have no idea what it is." 

    "It's The University of New Orleans."

    "Oh yeah, you go there, B told me. You're right, it would be nice to know someone already," She drinked her shot and slaped the bench beside her. 

    "Come on, let's drink."

    He was coming here, and I seemed to be more anxious with every step he take, Never in my life I felt what I was feeling right now, it was like butterflies in my stomach but much, much more intense. I can't explain what it is but I could feel in my bones that I was supposed to meet him, like our destinies were starcrossed.

    He reached me but stayed quiet and I started to get lost in his beautiful eyes, and suddenly I felt the urge to kiss him, undress him, and let him take me right here and right now. When I realized where my mind was drifting to, I pulled myself back to reality.

   "Uum, hey? Hellooo? Hey are you ok?" I said, trying to get his attention. 

    "Yeah, sorry about that, got lost in my thoughts. So, I'm Ethan, Josh's cousing," 

    We started drinking and talking after that weird start of the night, as we kept talking that feeling of us belonging together just grew, but now I was drunk, and when I'm drunk I have no control over my mouth or my mind. 

    "You're really handsome you know?" I told him while I stared at his beautiful face. 

    "Hahaha, thanks, you're not hard to look at either." I could see that he was kind off nervous, but that didn't stop me. 

    "Can I ask you something, mr misterious?" I didn't even waited for him to answer me, I just cutted him off.

    "If I told you that I believe that we are meant to be together, would you think I'm crazy?" He clearly was not expecting that question at all.

    "I don't think you're crazy, but maybe we should talk when you're sober and privetely like in my hotel or if you prefer, a diner is good too."

    I thought about what he said and I had to agree, so I picked my things up, grabed his hand and starded to pull him so we could tell Josh and Bianca that we were leaving.

    "B, me and Ethan are going to a diner, he's gonna drop me off later, enjoy your night. Love you."

    "Uuuh, leaving with that sexy as* man over there, good for you Rae, just be safe and love you too."

    I grabed his hand again so we cold leave, but this time I felt a little sparkle when we touched and electrified my whole body, I didn't give much thought and just pulled him towards the exit so we could go.
