They left and the images disappeared but I could still see Juniper in my mind. Unconscious. Vulnerable. One word from these monsters and she'd die. I couldn't let that happen. But I also couldn't become their puppet. Couldn't betray everything I'd fought for. There had to be a third option. A way out I wasn't seeing.
