Vincent's pov The next morning, I took my Porsche out for the long drive. I needed the air to clear my head anyway. The city traffic was heavy, but once I hit the highway heading north, the road opened up. The hours gave me plenty of time to think and plan what I'd say, how I'd approach him. I couldn't come across as desperate, but I needed him to understand how serious I was about buying his land. By the time I reached the address Wicket had given me, the sun was setting, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink. The property was beautiful. It had a long driveway lined with old trees that led to a lovely house, not a mansion, but elegant in its simplicity. Two stories, white with black shutters, surrounded by well-maintained gardens.
