Vincent's POV I stood there watching Rachel laugh with the children, and something warm spread through my chest. She was so natural with them. So genuine. The way she knelt down to their level when they spoke to her, the way she listened intently to a little boy's rambling story, the way she gently fixed a little girl's lopsided ponytail. She would make such a good mother. I paused as the thought suddenly occurred to me. Rachel had been pregnant with our child and she'd lost the baby because of me, because I'd been too cruel and too blind to see what I was doing to her.
