Watching the person in front of her made her angrier that she didn't know. When she shouted "stop", he just stopped in a jiffy, which made her hit her head on the seat. Feeling more mad than before, she stepped out of the car and told him to come out of the car, which he refused.
"Step out of the car, Ray," she shouted on top of her tiny voice, which could be called a shout. Immediately after Ray was out, she got into the driver's seat and zoomed off, leaving him on the lonely and dark road.
"Hello, get here in 10 minutes", the call ended. He put the phone back into his coat pocket. The air was chilly, so the night was dark (sound of car approaching).
"Why did you take so long?"
"Am so sorry" the sec said in a shaky voice as he opened the car door.
"Did Madam get home safely?" Ray asked with worries in his eyes.
"Yes she did", she answered back. They zoomed off.
As she got home, she went straight to the fridge without even changing her shoes or dress. She picked the wine from the classy ones and a tumbler glass poured half of the content and drank in a glimpse. She still felt no better and took all the contents in the bottle, kicked her shoes and went upstairs to change into something suitable and take a shower.
In the car
"To Royal Dream Avenue" a cold voice said in the tensed-up car.
"OK" without a grin on his face because of what happened they drove on reaching there. He told his secretary to take the night off. He stood in the car and looked at her room. The lights are still on. #ding-dong # a message popped on the screen of the phone. She sighed. Who could this be late at night? She reluctantly picked up the phone and her eyes widened.
[Can I come in]
As she watched down from the window, she saw the May Beach car park outside her apartment and noticed a dimmed light in the car, knowing that Ray was inside the car.
