I was the last one to step out before the doors closed behind me with a loud thud, sealing Violet and the seer inside.
I didn’t know what I expected from that meeting, well that was the thing with Mariah you never knew what to expect.
My body ached like I’d just shifted and fought ten wolves back-to-back. Every breath felt heavier than the last.
