I feel like my stomach has just leapt right into my throat. There can’t be something wrong with the baby. No. Not now. I run up the stairs behind my mom with Robin following closely on my heels. I can’t seem to run fast enough though, I just want to get to her.  We burst through the door, and my dad is seated at the edge of the bed holding the tiny baby in his arms. She’s wrapped in a little pink blanket, and all I can see is her petite little nose peeking out from the folds. My dad pulls the blanket aside to show me her face. She turns to look at me, and her golden eyes grow wide when they lock with mine. I feel like I’ve been struck by lightning. “Hey, Celeste,” I whisper breathlessly.
