I climb out of bed as quietly as possible and tip-toe over to the desk. I pull out a pencil and paper, scribbling a quick note to Eric.
“Be back soon,” I write, “Please don’t worry. Go back to your sisters, I’ll visit the castle when I return.”
I don’t want to tell him exactly where I’m going or I'm sure he'll follow, and that won't do any good when it comes to the Fairies. Or Robin.
I silently slink out of the room and over to Sylvia’s door once more, knocking softly and praying that she hears me.
Sure enough, after a few seconds she appears in the doorway rubbing her sleepy eyes.
“You really don't want met to get any sleep, do you Mare?" She teases, "What is it this time?"
“The witch visited me again,” I explain. “And... Sylvia, I think the curse has something to do with you.”
