I manage to stay on my feet feet long enough to stumble into the dark hallway with the help of Eric’s strong arm wrapped around my waist. It feels so nice, so warm. But the world is still spinning around me like a snow globe that’s been shaken just a little too hard. My knees go weak again, but I manage to catch myself on the nearby wall.  “Hold on,” I say in a slurred voice.
