Victor barged into the tent, his eyes bloodshot.
"Do you know Julia Foster? Where is she now? I'm her husband!"
"Sorry, sir. There's no one here named Julia." Wade was sterilizing reusable medical equipment, his tone icy. "Please leave. Thank you."
"No, that's impossible. I just saw her. My wife is working here as a doctor!"
Wade recognized him as Julia's wealthy husband and pulled off his gloves.
"Sir, this is a refugee camp. We're racing against time to save lives. If you're here to put on some lover's redemption act, you've come to the wrong place. Leave now!"
Victor's expression darkened instantly. He studied Wade for a moment, then suddenly sneered.
"So you're admitting that Julia is here? Tell me where she is right now, or I have plenty of ways to destroy this refugee camp!"
