We all silently watched as the other packs slowly got up, many of the men immediately bolting and running for their lives. A few of the braver ones stepped forward, tossing the bodies of their fallen comrades over their shoulders while they looked around warily, trying to discover any sneak attacks early. Serene gave them one firm nod before we turned, focusing all of the attention on our pack.
